Holiday Fun

So in our home we love to Elf our friends and neighbors. So, this year we actually had the time and the space to do some major baking. The kids were excited to help me make cookies, snowman poop (also known as puppy chow), sugar candy, fudge, peppermint patties and many other yummy things. As we were baking the door bell rand, the kids ran to the front to door to see who is was. When we opened the door there were 3 packages sitting on our doorstep. We didn't know for sure who ding dong ditched us, but we had a pretty good idea that it might have been the Rawson family. Well my kids were now hyped up with excitement. So my kiddos decided they wanted to do the same thing to them. So we wrapped up gifts for the 4 kiddos and went and ding dong ditched the Rawsons. It was so fun to feel the excitment that each of them had and to know that they were in the holiday spirit. It was fun watching them have a great time and being able to create special memories with my kids that hopefully they will take with them as they grown older. I just love the holidays. :D

Christmas in our home

Well we had a great Christmas this year. We invited my girlfriend and her son to come to stay the night with us and wake up Christmas morning. As usual the kids had a blast helping me bake and Elfing our friends and neighbors. Christmas day we had my parents and my brother and his wife over for dinner. It was great family time that was spent eating, laughing and playing games. I have come to the conclusion that our family LOVES to play games. Which is really not a bad thing at. :D I do have to say though, that I do miss the snow and the cold weather. I would be willing to move back to Flag any time. :D Having a fire place burning while you are listening to Christmas music, while cuddled up on the couch drinking hot coco. Yep, that's what I miss. :D
