Thanksgiving

Well we had a great Thanksgiving. We had my parents over and then my mom and I went Black Friday shopping. We had a great time. My mom and I tagged team and spent 5.5 hours at Walmart waiting for the great deals. We were successful and got what we went for. :D Then on Sat. our cousin was baptized and we had the chance to be part of his special day. We spent most of the day there and then went over to my best friends house to visit with her and have dinner. This holiday weekend really ended up being a great one. Now we are busy getting things ready for Christmas. I am so excited to start decorating my house. I LOVE the Christmas season. Just wish I was back in Flagstaff to have the snow to go along with the holiday, but oh well I will settle for 75 degree weather. LOL I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

Well its been 2 months now since we have been back in the valley. I am loving the new house and being back close to my friends. There is so much to do down here with the kids and since the Holidays are coming its nice to do family activities. I got the chance to go to Tucson this weekend to see my cousin perform in Band Day at U of A and then we went and did her senior pictures. It was great to get the chance to catch up with them. The month of Nov is a very busy month for us. We have all sorts of family activities planed along with softball squeezed in there. I am very excited for next weekend. We will be taking the kids to the hot air balloon festival along with going to the hydro boat races. Something my family loves to do. Robert came into town and came to the kids school Veteran's day program. They presented him with a certificate and then he took the kids and I to lunch. They were excited to spend time with him. Then that following Friday he finally tied the knot. He and Megan are officially married. It has been great to see my brother so happy. I just love when we spend family time together.
