It looks like Robert will be having his skin graph here in Bethesda. Doc said some time next week they have him scheduled for it. So he'll be in MD for a few more weeks, then he'll headed to Balboa for his physical therapy and prosthetic. Some physical therapy ladies were in today and they were really happy with how things look so far. :) He was able to get off his back for a while and lay on his stomach which was a big accomplishment. He has been in a lot of pain over the last couple of days and this morning due to them closing both legs on Monday. The surgeons felt like everything was clean enough and good to go to put the skin over the bone and tie the muscle to the bone as well (which is good news). His pain is under control as of now. :) A LT that he new from his Blackheart Co 2/5 came by today and visited with him, which really seemed to lift his spirits. YAY. We still have a number for people to call, but don't worry, he will eventaually get around to making all those calls I promise. he's just not up to making any right now (due to pain meds and such). He's thinking about everyone and misses everyone a lot though. Remeber to keep him in your prayers as his new journey begins. He has a long and semi rough road ahead of him, but I know he can do it. He's stubborn and hard headed....LOL
Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts, prayers and concerns. It really means alot to him to know that so many people really care.
