The Craziness has begun!

Well this week is the start of our Softball/Tball craziness. We have games every day for the next 4 weeks except on Sundays. Thank goodness, I think I am going to need my day of rest. Anyways, Saturday was opening ceremonies for the girls and then they each had a game. Both teams did really well.

Tonight, Kenzie was put in to pitch. I think she was a little nervous, knowing that she wasn't in practice anymore and that this is the real deal. By the time the next inning came, she was a little more relaxed than the first. I am hoping that as she does more games, she will losen up and focus. Her coach's love the the fact that she is a lefty and a righty pitcher. She really wants to get a softball scholarship and go to UW and play for the Husky's. Keith has been working with her each night to help her improve her strength and speed in both arms.

Aurora on the other hand is in coach pitch, and still needs some work on when exactly to swing, but she is doing really well. She loves this sport and with her MD this is the best thing for her right now. So when I came home tonight from Kenzie's game, I was tagged in a picture that I wasn't really sure who it was, I thought it was my brother, but was unsure, thinking he couldn't be doing this yet. Well low and behold it was. He was ROCK WALL CLIMBING with his new legs. I could't believe it. It's only been a month and a half since his accident and he has come along so well. He is doing an amazing job and is recovering fast. I hope he keeps it up.
