Well tonight was the first time that I have ever been to the Temple to do baptisms for the dead. It was such a great experience for me and for Keith. Bur first, I have to share my story of how today unfolded. You see on Sat our truck broke down on us and had been sitting in the parking lot of Taco Bell. Since we could not get it started I figured we were not going to be able to make it to the Temple for the baptisms. Keith had gotten home around 4 and decided that he was going to go to the truck and check the started and see if he could get it to start. Well within 10 mins he came back home with the truck running. As we rushed to hurry up and get ready he started to tell me that that his last call for today was in North Scottsdale and as he was getting of at the exit that he needed, his office called him and told him that they customer had rescheduled for tomorrow morning. This allowed him enough time to make it back to the office and home in time to go. On his way home it donged on him that he should check the starter solenoid. I looked at him and told him that I think the Lord wants us to get to the Temple. So we dropped the kiddos off at my moms and went. After we were done we headed to my moms to pick up the kiddos. Keith looked at our gas gauge and noticed that we had just enough gas to make it home. He tells me that if the truck had been running we wouldn't have had the gas to go to the Temple. The Lord was making sure we were going to make it for sure. When we arrived at the Temple, we saw so many friends from our ward and to top it all off we ran into some old friends that we hadn't seen in a very long time. It was so special and I can't express how spiritually feed I feel by going and doing those 5 names. I was confirmed for 5 women that were from Hungary that were born in the 1800's. What a great journey it was for me tonight to be able to help these wonderful ladies receive the gospel. I am so thankful for the wonderful ward that we attend and for all my friends and family that have been there for Keith and I. I am looking forward to Feb. 14th. 2013.
