It Finally Happend

Well my dream has finally come true.  On mine and Keith's 15th wedding anniversary, we were finally sealed as a Eternal family.  It has been a long fifteen years and so many bumps in the road.  It has been truly an amazing last six months.   So I am going to take down memory lane for the moment.
When we chose to move into our home in August 2012, we didn't realize how fast and how quick it would be before we were an Eternal family.  On November 11th 2012 Keith received the Melchizedek Priesthood.  Keith has been trying to get to this point for quite some time.  I was such a great spiritual moment for our family to finally have a priesthood holder in our home.  We had such a great turn out of family and friends that love and support us.  As the weeks went on with our dream date in the distance we did have a few minor obstacles that we faced.
It started with Keith having low hours of work and then that  turned into him being laid off.  As I was thinking now is a time that I should start to stress I only felt a comfort and peace.  I just knew everything was going to be okay.  As I was worried just how long he would be out of work.  Our Bishop kept telling us that the Lord has bigger and better plans for us.  During one of our Temple Prep classes Keith mentioned that if he would have stayed with his prior company, they were NOT going to let him have the time off for our Endowment session and our sealing.   And then to our surprise Keith was hired within in two weeks.  The company he was hired with is so much better than the company he was working for before hand.  This obstacle ended up not being something that Satin was doing, but rather the Lord was guiding us so that we COULD make it to the Temple.  We had the pleasure of having Keith's mom come down from Seattle to visit and be here for our sealing.  It has been 12 years since Keith and I had seen her.  So February 14th finally arrives, I am soooooo excited to finally have my dream come true.  This has been the moment I have been waiting for.  Earlier Keith had pointed out to me that our civil ceremony ended at 11:15 and that our sealing was at 11:15.  It was such a great feeling knowing that we were sealed right were we left off fifteen years ago.
The greatest feeling was not only being sealed to my husband for all Eternity but was seeing my kids walk in the room in all white.  We are now and ETERNAL family and I am so happy.
